Cumming Kiwanis Club Scholarship Program
Each year, the Cumming Kiwanis Club awards a $1,000.00 scholarship to one
outstanding Key Club senior from each Forsyth County High School. Scholarships
are funded through our Pecan Sale fundraising events held between November and
February. Key Club members, being a vital part of the Kiwanis Service Leadership
Program, are recognized for excellence in academics and service to their school
and community. The scholarships are paid directly to the educational
institution, and are used for payment of tuition, books, and/or room & board. A
committee made up of officers, directors, and members of the Cumming Kiwanis
Club will evaluate each application, and determine the scholarship winner from
each school, based solely on the information contained in the student’s
application.
We encourage all Key Club seniors to apply. Winners will be presented with their
scholarship certificate at each high school’s Senior Awards recognition night.
Key Club members who are not yet seniors should continue their service
activities in the school and community, and work hard to excel in academic
achievements.
