·         The vast majority of cyclists are college educated with average incomes of over $71,000/yr.

·         There are more cyclists in the U.S. than skiers, golfers and tennis players combined, according to the National Sporting Goods Association.

·         Participants in last years Kiwanis ride included doctors, attorneys, business professionals, a city mayor, teachers and college professors.

·         The Southern Bicycle League has over 1,500 members in the metro Atlanta area, with an email data base of over 5,000 cyclists.
